We are so looking forward to our workshops with Harold and Sally Shank.  We strive to be like the first century church as they studied together which brought them closer to each other and the Lord.


Listening to the Heartbeat of God
"Who is God?" is the topic of our workshop scheduled for
Saturday, Sunday, October 27th and 28th.

Harold Shank will be joining the Watonga Church of Christ for a workshop where lessons from his book, Listening to His Heartbeat: What The Bible says about the Heart of God

Harold Shank currently works as a consultant with faith based organizations.  He provides services including writing Bible study material, offering support for those working with troubled children and families, and helping Christian leaders around the globe to obtain advanced educational degrees in the US.

 

He serves as the national spokesperson for the Network 1:27 (formerly known as Christian Child and Family Services Association, CCFSA). He has advocated on behalf of Christian child care since 1996.

In his role as national spokesperson for CCFSA, Harold speaks and writes articles and books promoting Christian child care.  His work to promote Christian child care raises the awareness among churches and Christians nationwide.

Sally Jane Shank

 

Sally Shank was born in Ireland, raised in Pairs, France and attended school in Kansas City.  She is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, OK.  Married to Harold Shank for 43 years, she has served with him as a missionary, in local congregational ministry, and collaborated on several books.  In addition, she is an accomplished author and illustrator and writes incisive questions as study materials.  Sally has been heavily involved in women’ ministries in churches, as an instructor at two universities, and teaches Bible to students who have English as a second language.  She is highly sought as a speaker for women’s events nationally and internationally.  As “First Lady” of Ohio Valley University in Vienna, West Virginia where Harold was president for six years, she entertained many guests to campus with grace and poise, and interacted with students as a teacher and mentor.

Harold and Sally have two married children and four grandchildren.
